●お客さんから聞かれた感想（武生にはほとんど居れなかったので金沢にて）
「理解に苦しみます！」

●受付でよく質問されたこと・・・
Q「丹南」どう読むの？なんのこと？
A「たんなん」です。福井県の地方名です。丹生（にゅう）郡と南越（なんえつ）の頭文字をとった名です（私も初めて知りました）
Qどういう集まりなの？
A八田豊という作家の呼び掛けで、それぞれ集まった作家たちです。「素材」に重点を置いています・海外作家は、交流展をしたときに知り合った方たちです。
越前和紙の産地が拠点ということもあり、和紙を使う作家が多いです。

Q土岡秀太郎 って誰？
A福井の美術評論家で、前衛芸術運動をされていた方です。

土岡秀太郎 つちおか-ひでたろう
1895－1979 大正-昭和時代の美術評論家。
明治28年6月25日生まれ。土岡春郊の弟。大正11年木下秀一郎らと福井市で北荘画会を結成し,前衛芸術運動を推進。昭和5年同市に画廊アルト会館をたてる。23年北美文化協会を組織。古九谷の研究家としても知られ,「定本古九谷図説」をあらわした。昭和54年1月6日死去。83歳。福井県出身。武生中学卒。筆名は究渓。
Q久世学長はどうして出品しているの？
A出身が福井県で、八田豊と関わりがあるからです。
・・・福井における芸術運動の長い歴史の中、私は出品しはじめてから４年目で浅いので、本当はもっと深いのに、十分に答えられなかった気がします。。
ちなみに私は、高校時代の先生の紹介で関わりはじめました。徐々に惹かれ、そして気づけば実行委員になっていました。(笑) 毎年展覧会を開き、運営していく大変さが、よくわかりました。
２0周年を迎えた丹南は、総監督の八田先生曰く「一区切り」、となりました。
短い間でしたが、毎年暑い夏にやってくる「丹南」は、私にとって、成長の場でした。（ご年配でも）勢いのある、エネルギーの塊のような方々から、たくさん、刺激をいただきました。
関わらせて頂いて光栄です。
これからもここで得た、素敵なみなさんとの不思議なご縁を、大切にしていきたいと思います。 よろしくお願いいたします。
